A BILL
To require the President to personally sign any pardon or reprieve, and for other purposes.
Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Signature Integrity for Granting National Pardons Act
or the SIGN Pardons Act
.
Sec. 2. Presidential signature required for pardons
The President shall personally sign any pardon or reprieve that the President grants pursuant to Article II, Section 2, Clause 1 of the Constitution of the United States.
