Ms. Mace introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary
To amend the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2022 with respect to a civil action relating to the disclosure of intimate images.
Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Increased Accountability for Nonconsensual Pornography Act of 2025
.
Sec. 2. Civil action relating to disclosure of intimate images
Section 1309 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2022 (15 U.S.C. 6851) is amended—
(1)
in subsection (a)—
(A)
in paragraph (2), by inserting competent,
after conscious,
; and
(B)
in paragraph (5)(A)—
(i)
in clause (i), by striking or
at the end;
(ii)
in clause (ii)—
(I)
in subclause (I), by striking the semicolon at the end and inserting ; or
;
(II)
in subclause (II), by striking ; or
and inserting a semicolon; and
(III)
by striking subclause (III); and
(iii)
by adding at the end the following:
(iii)
an identifiable individual engaging in sexually explicit conduct; and; and
(2)
in subsection (b)(3)(A)(i), by striking $150,000
and inserting $500,000
