A BILL
To amend the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 to prohibit the Securities and Exchange Commission from requiring an issuer to make climate-related disclosures that are not material to investors, and for other purposes.
Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Stop Environmental Calculations Act of 2025
or the SEC Act of 2025
.
Sec. 2. Prohibition on requiring an issuer to make climate-related disclosures that are not material to investors
Section 23 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (15 U.S.C. 78w) is amended by adding at the end the following:
(e) Prohibition on requiring an issuer To make climate-Related disclosures that are not material to investors
The Commission may not require an issuer to make climate-related disclosures that are not material to investors.
