To repeal the Hughes Amendment to the Firearm Owners’ Protection Act.
Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Firearm Freedom Act of 2026
.
Sec. 2. Repeal of ban on possession or transfer of machineguns
Section 922 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by striking subsection (o).
