A BILL

To amend title 5, United States Code, to designate Easter Monday as a legal public holiday.

Section 1. Short title

This Act may be cited as the Easter Monday Act of 2025.

Sec. 2. Easter Monday as a legal public holiday

Section 6103(a) of title 5, United States Code, is amended by inserting after the item relating to Washington’s Birthday the following:

Easter Monday, the first Monday that occurs after the first Sunday that occurs after the full Moon that occurs on or after the spring equinox (commonly known as Easter Sunday).
