Mr. Lee introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Foreign Relations
To terminate the United States African Development Foundation.
Section 1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Terminate Unaccountable Spending, Abuse, Deception, and Fraud Act
.
Sec. 2. Termination of the United States African Development Foundation
(a) Repeal
The African Development Foundation Act (title V of Public Law 96–533; 22 U.S.C. 290h et seq.) is repealed.
(b) Conforming amendments
(1) Trade and development act of 2000
Section 127(b) of the Trade and Development Act of 2000 (19 U.S.C. 3737(b)) is amended by striking paragraph (4).
(2) Foreign assistance act of 1961
Section 620(q)(2) of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 (22 U.S.C. 2370(q)(2)) is amended by striking the African Development Foundation Act,

Section 4(8) of the Global Food Security Act of 2016 (22 U.S.C. 9303(8)) is amended by striking the United States African Development Foundation,
